While Kelsang Gyatso has been out of sight since 2013, Kelsang Dekyong claimed October 2015 that Kelsang Gyatso recently told her,
"The things we normally see do not exist." He added, sublime, "remember to not believe that mistaken appearance is the truth."
"The way Je Tsongkhapa practically benefits living beings is unusual, different from other enlightened beings. His way of practically benefiting is unsurpassed.
Everything depends on our mind. Everything is imagined, imputed, created by mind. The things you see do not exist.
You need to teach them the power of the mind.
If the mind becomes pure, the world is pure. All beings in it are pure. There can be no greater way to practically benefiting people than this.
(Kelsang Gyatso) is the living Je Tsongkhapa in our world."
NKT insists that Kelsang Gyatso is the unsurpassed enlightened being!
No one other than NKT leadership believes that Kelsang Gyatso is Je Tsongkhapa or that Kelsang Gyatso is the ultimate enlightened being. Neither does Kelsang Gyatso, who bans Je Tsongkhapa's writings and his ultimate idol is Shugden, a mythical retaliatory spirit never acknowledged by the real Je Tsongkhapa.
I heard the same in 2009 directly from Dekyong.
Kelsang Gyatso does not get it yet. He sees us as impure. He sees the Dalai Lama as satan. He organizes bitter campaigns against living beings. Thus his mind is impure.
2009-2015, NKT spent hundreds of thousands of dollars and hundreds of thousands of hours attacking those outside NKT, most notably the Dalai Lama. Protest rallies, web sites, blog posts, manifestos. Direct contradiction to Dekyong's October 2015 speech.
Sacriligous it is the claim that Kelsang Gyatso is wisdom (Je Tsongkhapa's trait) and unsurpassed.
Sad it is the lives and aspirations wasted for Kelsang Gyatso's battles. There are countless benefits unrealized by all the NKT waste and NKT mind projections against us.
NKT could learn from the Dalai Lama. Faced with interruption while addressing NKT survivors and with harassment from a protest rally outside, the Dalai Lama said September 18, 2015,
"Kelsang Gyatso’s commentary to Shantideva’s ‘Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life’ is good...So although he has now taken against me, his own teacher...You should continue to regard him with respect, even if you tell yourself that you are now trying to follow the authentic teachings of the Buddha and Je Tsongkhapa.”
