NKT ire extends far beyond the Dalai Lama and NKT's survivors. NKT despises all other religions.
Promoting a new book, God and His Demons by Michael Parenti, NKT castigates religion in general and Tibetan Buddhism specifically. NKT likes the idea that the author trashes Mother Teresa too.
The new book "on the dark side of religion, the many evils committed in the name of godly virtue throughout history...The focus is on the threat posed by fundamentalists and theocratic reactionaries...(an) eloquent indictment of organized religion's delusions and abuses."
Given the book's description, it seems an indictment of NKT, which is comprised of fundamentalists and theocratic reactionaries selling delusion and abuse, including sexual abuse.
In a radio interview published by NKT, Michael Parenti essentially absolves the Dalai Lama of culpability in the alleged wrongdoing of what Michel Parenti calls 'old Tibet', composed of rich Lamas living off the backs of peasantry and who pick nine-year-old boys to become monks and use them for sexual purposes wherein the 4 'religious' denominations (including NKT's sacred link with the Gelugpa) were embroiled in a history of killing each other.
Also part of NKT's marketing, Michael Parenti claims that the 1950s Chinese overthrow of Tibet and its 25 year-old ruler, the Dalai Lama, did good things for Tibet.
Thus, NKT is reinvigorating its campaign against Tibetan Buddhism and its generations of Lamas such as Tsongkhapa and its support of the Chinese invasion and overthrow of Tibet.
As usual for NKT, shameful fundamentalism and distaste for the rich legacy of Tibetan Buddhism.
