Since July 2008, it has been a plea to Kelsang Gyatso and NKT.
From the home page,
"This web site is a heart-felt plea that Gyatso, his NKT cult and his spiteful devotees relinquish their offensive public ego display and their abuse of esteemed Tibetan teachers of Buddhism."
There have been 2 criticisms of this web site from NKT.
First, it is negative. Agreed. Addressing the negative behavior and retaliations of Kelsang Gyatso and NKT yields negativity, including vile emails to this web site from NKT supporters.
Second, it is dangerous because it is rational. NKT is concerned that those attracted to NKT marketing will be disuaded from involvent with NKT if they learn about NKT. However, most believe that more information is better than less.
As recently noted here, it is phenomenal how much has been written and how many authors there have been for information about Kelsang Gyatso and NKT. Simply Google NKT/Kelsang Gyatso cult/controversy. You will get tens of thousands of resulting web links from Google. This web site provides a tiny fraction of what is readily available.
For focus on Buddhism, there are hundreds of web sites. Better yet, there are hundreds of wonderful books to explore. Even better, there are thousands of teachers and groups to learn from. Combined with your life and motivations, your opportunities are endless.
Please take advantage of a remarkable journey.
Please learn more about Tsongkhapa from his prolific writings, all of which are banned inside NKT...as are any books writted by esteemed teachers of Buddhism, including those that transcribe the words that Buddha spoke 2,500 years ago.
It is truly mind bending that NKT markets itself as Kadampa Buddhism, even though all books and teachers of Kadampa Buddhism are banned inside NKT.
